Vol. 44, No. 10 “For The Buckeye Fan Who Needs To Know More” Nov. 23, 2024 By GREG WILSON EYE ON THE BALL Buckeye Sports Bulletin Associate Editor Conversations in the week leading up to Ohio State’s 31-7 win over Northwestern on Nov. 16 revolved around the game tak- ing place at Wrigley Field, the field dimen- sions in the stadium not being very condu- cive to a football game and the Buckeyes starting at noon once again – the fourth of six noon starts in a row for OSU. It seemed that, at least publicly, no eyes were actually on the Wildcats team that the Buckeyes were going to have to face off against for 60 minutes. Instead all of them focused on everything else surrounding the game. When game time came around and scar- let and gray flooded the stands at Wrigley, filling most of the 38,147 seats, it seemed like all of that talk from media and fans might have also had the Buckeyes a little distracted as well.
