Who We Are Equal Opportunity Schools provides school districts with the data, tools, and customized support needed to increase and diversify enrollment in advanced courses. Each year, nearly a million students of color and students from low-income backgrounds are overlooked and excluded from advanced high school courses due to the flawed and outdated systems that determine which students have access to these classes. A 2020 EdTrust study showed that students of color are less likely to be placed in AP courses, but when given the opportunity, they are as successful as their counterparts. EOS partners with school districts across the country to close this opportunity gap.
