ON THE CLOSE Growing people, transforming lives, shaping futures www.herefordcs.com Edition 1: October 2024 W elcome to the inaugural edition of On the Close, the newspaper of record for all the events that are taking place in and around School. There are few educational organisations where there is such busyness and purpose – where so many opportunities exist and where so many developments and innovations are in progress. We have named our school newspaper On the Close to honour the centuries-old tradition of our school’s location in this historic and inspirational setting. The Cathedral Close has witnessed the countless changes that have taken place throughout our history and continues to be the iconic focal point of the School. We do hope that this publication provides an exciting update on recent events and showcases the diverse achievements, accomplishments and talents that are so ubiquitous at HCS.
