Audience Research Magazine 1: Men’s Mental Health // Toxic Masculinity My target audience is mainly socially conscious 16-25 year olds, specifically men. However, I also want my magazine to be appealing to all genders and age groups to allow the readers to be more educated on the affairs reported on in my magazine. My aim for my magazine is to raise awareness of the stigma around mental health as well as educating my readers and raising awareness and providing help and support to me suffering with mental health, and those that have been affected by toxic masculinity. To appeal to my audience demographic, I will use stereotypical ‘masculine colours’ such as dark blue, black and grey to appeal to the audience who may not be aware of the influence toxic masculinity has on them, to be able to educate them.
