Target audience research Primary audience. My primary audience that I am appealing to with the creation of my website and recreation of Music video is the 16-25 year old category. Gender: I believe that the song that I have chosen to create a music video for is a non-gender specific song meaning that it will be aimed at male and female audiences’. The use of a young boy actor and a male singer in my video should help to aim my marketing of the song towards younger girls to engage with the lyrics. This is why I am also using a female actress in my video to create a love story so anyone male or female can relate to what is being shown in front of them as many young people nowadays can relate to a failed relationship. Psychographics: The typical target audience for my music video covers an outgoing, and partying type who tend to be very sociable. My music video will hopefully be aimed at the mainstream psychographic bas they like to follow latest trends or “POP”ular songs. Social class: T
