ENGLISH LESSON PLAN Grade 3rd grade Unit name Unit 7 OUR WORLD Topic Spring-Landscape Date 10.04.2019 Lesson goals - Students revise vocabulary about landscape and nature, - Students use familiar vocabulary and adjectives to make short, simple descriptions Teaching-learning Activities activities Introduction part -10 Students read short stories about spring. Attention is paid on the min numerous adjectives that are being used for descriptions as well as the key vocabulary. Students are asked to name the familiar vocabulary referring to spring from the story. Main part -20 min Students are given a challenge, to look for items in the park. They are divided in groups of four. Each group receives a list with items they need to search in the park. For e.g: stick, stone, grass, pebbles. On the teacher sign the game has finished and all the groups present their findings. The group that has succeeded to find most of the items is the winner. This is a great activity for revising old vocabulary
