A home for all Season of Creation 1 September 2021 to 4 October 2021 Introduction The Season of Creation is a time to renew our relationship with our Creator and all creation through celebration, conversion, and commit- ment. It is an annual ecumenical season where we pray and act together as a Christian family for our common home. the Season of Creation is a celebration that allows all people to recognize ourselves as “the work of the Lord’s creative act,” to contemplate nature and all that dwells in it, and to care for our Common Home. The Season of Creation begins on September 1, World Day of Prayer for the Care of Creation, and ends on October 4, the feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology beloved by many Christian denomi- nations.
