Fall 2023 OLY NEWSLETTER American Chemical Society Division of Polymer Chemistry, Inc. We have had an eventful and exciting 2023 in the Division of Polymer Chemistry! From national to regional meetings and from workshops and webinars to international conferences, POLY has been a force this year in driving the future of 2023 POLY Chair polymer science. Allan Guymon Our recent ACS national meeting in San Francisco was a tremendous success with many standing-room-only talks. Polymer symposia focused on big data and simulation, sustainability, biorelated and natural polymers. Topical sessions illustrated exciting new Inside opportunities and directions for polymers in defense applications and space exploration. We had the opportunity to honor several of the best of the best in polymer chemistry with award symposia. A list of these can be found on page 2-4.
