Conceived by the Public Establishment in charge of the conservation and restoration of Notre-Dame de Paris Cathedral in collaboration with Connaissance des Arts, La Fabrique de Notre-Dame is the first logbook of this great heritage project. It will take you step by step through the work of restoring Notre-Dame.
This first issue looks back over the twenty months that followed the fire: twenty months during which the cathedral was saved and then made secure. At the same time, the journal also evokes some of the key historical events in the life of one of the world’s most famous monuments.
