The sale of the century Dayton’s Santabear, 1985 by James Neagbour A Minneapolis holiday tradition was ended this year. After 54 years of Christmas shows in the eighth floor auditorium at the Downtown Dayton’s/Field’s/Macy’s, the store closed its doors. And as the saying goes, when a door closes, a window opens.
