FOOTBALL There are football clubs all over England. The biggest clubs are in cities: London (Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur), Manchester ( Manchester City and Manchester United), Liverpool (Liverpool FC and Everton), Newcastle, etc, but most towns have a football club. Games are on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, and some evenings, from August to May. CRICKET The game of cricket began in England. Many people love to watch it in villages on Saturday and Sunday afternoons. RUGBY This is a fast and exciting game. Many towns and cities have got rugby clubs. In December you can see the big game between Oxford and Cambridge Universities at Twickenham, London.
