A Support Group through Art for Bereaved Adult Siblings Orna Megides* & Tova Yedidia** This article describes a support group through art for bereaved adult siblings who participated in a qualitative study conducted in the framework of doctoral studies. The article presents the contribution of art language in situations of bereavement and loss in the structure of group therapy and how the combination of art and group therapy contribute, accelerate and broaden the process of coping with grief and loss. During group sessions, various means of art interventions were offered. The gradual exposure and contact with the different materials allowed the bereaved siblings ,to process their grief on two levels, multi-dimensional and reciprocal relations, based on the two-track model of bereavement. Using art as a medium enabled participants to unthreateningly process the internalized relationship with the deceased sibling.
