With a view to its assessment by the French Authority for Assessment of Research and Higher Education (Hcéres) in 2020, followed by the preparation of its objectives and performance contract with the French State for the 2021-2025 period, Inserm is drafting its new 2025 Strategic plan against a backdrop of radical changes. These require the Institute to adapt its actions to the multiple challenges facing our biomedical research today, be they fundamental, conceptual, technological or clinical, as well as individual expectations regarding science for health.
