The little girl with black eyes. This photo was taken in November, 1985, in Colombia after a volcanic accident. The volcano stayed calm for 140 years, but this day there it woke up and caused waves of muds. The inhabitants remained stuck in this mud. The girl on the photo is called Omayra Sanchez, she has her legs stuck in the water and the size blocked by iron. Before dying, she pronounces last words by saying has her mother that she likes her and speaks has God. Franck Fournier photographed her when he discovering this tragedy. After the publication of this photo, many people wondered and have accused Franck not to have helped this girl. The state was also criticized «The volcano did not kill 22.000 people. The government killed them» I chose this photo because, I find this girl very beautiful and very dramatic with the eyes black.
