Help for those leaving school this summer Skills Development Scotland is the national careers service. We work with people of all ages. Our school-based Careers Advisers support young people whilst they are at school through one-to-one appointments, and group sessions throughout their time at school. This support continues after school with Work Coaches helping young people to find opportunities such as work, training, modern apprenticeships, and further and higher education. Our advisers are available all year round, including during school holiday times, and anyone is welcome to come and see us. We know that waiting for exam results can be a stressful time for both young people and their families, and results are not always as expected. SDS offers a national Exam Results Helpline which will be available from Tuesday 6th August 2019 until Wednesday 12th August and can be contacted on 0808 100 8000.
