www.champnews.com AINTREE & MAGHULL 23 March 2016 Vol 23 l Issue 12 Man attacked by raiders at tattoo parlour Pet shop will not sell rabbits over Easter SCHOOL VOWS TO TAKE ACTION ON UNRULY PUPILS THE HEADTEACHER of a school in Maghull has vowed to take the 'strongest possible action' after a video surfaced on social media showing a pupil being repeatedly beaten by a gang at the school last week. The 14 year old boy, who is a pupil at Maricourt Catholic High School on Hall Lane, was viciously attacked, hit and sworn at by least two other pupils at the school at around lunchtime on Friday, March 18 – before Merseyside Police officers were called out to disperse a large number of schoolchildren near to the school later that day, at around 4pm. A police investigation into the assault is ongoing. A local shopkeeper, contacted the Champion to say that unruly pupils have been causing problems in the area.
