Man according to the Genesis account is in a fallen state, separated from God. God’s plan from the beginning was to bring redemption through the “Seed of the Women” (Genesis 3:15). This seed would be the Messiah, a descendent of Eve, who would crush the head of the serpent, Satan, and redeem man from his fallen state. The End-Times is God’s foretelling of the process of man’s redemption and reunion with His creator. The story of redemption begins with the fall. God set the plan into motion, after Abel’s death at the hands of Cain, Adam and Eve gave birth to Seth, who was like Abel.
