KIDS AND TEENS PROGRAM April 10, 2015 Parents meeting guidelines TO: ALL KIDS AND TEENS TEACHERS- NORTH SITE FROM: CLAUDIA GUTIERREZ- KIDS AND TEENS COORDINATOR TEACHER- PARENTS MEETING Please go through the following topics during the meeting and keep in mind the guidelines. Thanks. TOPICS: Methodology. Explain to parents the way we work at the Colombo Americano and what you are doing in class and the assessment criteria you are implementing. Pass/ Fail policy. Explain to parents the Pass/ Fail policy of the Kids and Teens program. Inform that the first grade is 20% of the final grade and the second grade is 80%. Mention that for more details about the Kids and Teens Program, they can refer to the student's handbook given to the kids at the beginning of this semester. Remind them of the importance of attending class, a kid can fail the course because of absences (4 absences). Reminders: a list of reminders for parents of things they should-should not do.
