April 10, 1912 I can’t wait to board the Titanic today! It’s one step closer to visit with first grandchild, Lawrence Palmer Brown Jr. He is ill and once the news was out, I purchased tickets immediately on the first ship to New York. I am currently 45 years old and was traveling throughout Europe with my beloved daughter, Helen Brown. She would’ve accompanied me on the voyage, but she decided to stick around in London. Nobody in my family realizes that I’m making way to the United States, other than Helen. I am cruising along on this spontaneous trip alone as a first class passenger. There are luxurious bedrooms with outstanding, spacious ballrooms. Also, after you get to workout in the first class exercise room, you can eat a fulfilling meal in the dining room, filled with dazzling chandeliers and a band that plays live jazz music.
