This paper gives a procedure of operating plant material balance using Microsoft Excel Solver on Excel spreadsheet. Operating plant material balance purpose is to produce a picture of the state of an operating plant. An example solving a copper concentrator flotation circuit is presented. This method is simple and easy to make from simple to a complex froth flotation circuit.
