Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough Operations Manual- Administration & Storage of Medication November 2016 BOYS & GIRLS CLUB OF EAST SCARBOROUGH ADMINISTRATION & STORAGE OF MEDICATION Purpose The Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough is committed to supporting the safety and well being of its staff and members. The purpose of this policy is to insure Club staff working directly with children and youth understand, and follow, the appropriate procedures for administering prescribed medication. Scope This policy applies to all employees/volunteers/student interns of the Boys & Girls Club of East Scarborough. Failure to comply with any Club policies and procedures will result in disciplinary action in accordance with the agency’s Human Resources Manual. Policy From time to time parents may require staff to administer prescribed medication to their child while they are in attendance of a Club program.
