Trip to Sicily
From the 20th to the 26th of February, five students and two teachers of
this school lived a great experience in Italy. We stayed in Siracusa, in
houses of great families, with children that, in spite of being younger than
us, made us feel the most comfortable they could. We also had a great
experience with the other countries’
delegations.
We spent the first day travelling by
plane: A Coruña-Madrid, MadridRome, Rome-Catania (and then
another hour by car…)
We arrived in Siracusa at night,
exhausted, but we were received with
emotion and kindness by our host
families.
The second day was a bit awkward for
everybody. At first, we didn’t know
what to do when we arrived at the
Italian school, but soon we introduced
ourselves to Italian, German, Turkish,
Lithuanian and Polish delegations.
We sang the European anthem before watching typical Sicilian dances and
presenting our projects. In the afternoon, we had free time, so each one of
