In Honour Ten-year old Christian Emerson presented Joe Brodaway with a small pot of pansies at the
Veterans dinner last Sunday. The Enderby Legion annually hosts a dinner to honour Canada’s veterans
– land, sea and air – with the members of the Rocky Mountain Rangers doing the serving. Christian is
the mascot for the Rocky Mountain Rangers Cadet Corps.
The abundance
of creativity within Enderby was
recently enhanced
when the Courtyard Gallery Artists'
Initiative asked the
City for funding
help. In response a
clever politics of art
was born.
City Councillors
responded to the
artists' request by
telling them they
would be part of a
hands-on endeavor
to help raise money
for the Courtyard
Gallery.
Enderby's councillors produced
eight original art
work pieces, all currently on display
until April 25th at
Courtyard Gallery.
April 25th marks
the first year anniversary of the gallery.
