CS opens 1st University S&T Fest
With the theme “Science, Technology and Innovation: Working Together
for Growth and Development”, the Bicol University College of Science College
Student Council (CSC) spearheaded the
1st university-wide Science and Technology (S&T) Festival last July 23-25, 2012.
The Festival Starts
This year’s S&T Fest was carried out
primarily by the BUCS-CSC jointly with
College Based Organizations (CBO). In
the first day, students attended a mass
at the Albay Cathedral, followed by a
parade led by the Bicol University Band
from Peñaranda Park to BUCS. The ribbon cutting marked the official opening
of the three-day event while the booth
launching took place after. An opening remark from the College Dean, Dr.
Lucy P. Estioko succeeded shortly after
the performance of the Bicol University Dance Troupe and Bicol University
Band.
