Far from Tahrir Square, Farraj,
a South Egyptian farmer, strives
to keep up with the events
occurring in his country, as the
revolution unfolds.
SYNOPSIS
A village near Luxor, on the
western bank of the Nile: a cluster
of small buildings seemingly
heaped on top of one another,
surrounded by endless fields and
deserts. In early 2011, when the
revolution broke out, nothing
seemed to be changing for Farraj,
his family, and his neighbors.
