We are one day away from boarding the Titanic. We have been living in England for
quite some time now, but we are returning to Pennsylvania. We will be boarding the
Titanic for our return. My brother and my nanny will be coming as well as other
maids and servants are coming along as well, such as Papa’s manservant and
chauffer. William Thorton Carter begged my mother Lucile Carter, and father,
William Earnest Carter, to bring a long his dog, Airedeal, along on the trip to
Southampton and back on the Titanic. I can’t wait to board tomorrow! It’s the biggest
boat ever made, and is said that God himself cannot sink this boat! I’ve been receiving
letters from our social circles, they have written be a bunch of facts about Titanic; it
was quite lovely! Some say that it might be the fanciest place that you will have ever
