Technology is advancing more rapidly each day. Unfortunately, the once-popular Yahoo!
Internet site has been left behind in these technological changes over the past few years.
Social media has exploded, smart phones have taken over and larger, more efficient search
engines and email portals have conquered the web. However, the newest CEO of Yahoo!,
Marissa Mayer, has taken the struggling company under her wing and looks to solve these
problems and put life back into Yahoo! with new innovations.
Out With the Old
According to various sources, Yahoo! is doing some spring cleaning during the next few
months by removing seven products that are outdated and do not garner much use from
consumers. Ms. Mayer, who was previously an executive at Google, followed the lead of the
popular search engine’s company by eliminating many unsuccessful products all at once.
