VACANCY – ESTATE ELECTRICIAN MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS • Apprenticeship in the electrical engineering including operation and maintenance of electrical machinery • Registered Installation Electrician in terms of regulation 11(1) of the electrical installation regulations or register within 6 months of employment. • 5 years of practical experience in the operation & maintenance of electrical machinery up to 11 000volts • 1 year experience in operation & maintenance of the electrical machinery required to supervise on the estate i.e., 11kv ring main units, 11kv cables, miniature substations, 11 000/420v transformers, lv cables, lv distribution / metering / pump station kiosks, & street lighting installations.
