AUG.19 - SEPT. 1, 2024 AMR / Medics hosts “Salute to Fire Rescue” Annual recognition ceremony of Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce BY ELAINE ADLER A s the Hilton Aventura’s beautiful Carrington Ballroom started filling up with fire rescue professionals from throughout South Florida, AMR/Medics Executive Bob Garner, and his best friend, AMR Therapy K-9, Karma, greeted each one with a warm welcome. The Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of C o m m e r c e ’s talented Young Star singer Jazzy Rose entertained the guests as net- working and photos galore were underway. Members of the Aventura Marketing Council/Chamber of Commerce (AMC) were there to honor the men, women and K-9 officers of fire departments from Hollywood to Miami Beach. Aventura Mayor Howard S. Weinberg, Esq. welcomed everyone to the City of Excellence and proudly displayed his Aventura/Miami-Dade Fire VIP Reception line with Hialeah Fire Dept. and their Above & Beyond Winner, Engineer/USAR K-9 Handler Barbara
