JANUARY 7 - 20, 2025 MDC bestows top honor to 10 faculty members TO MIAMI’S COMMUNITY NEWSPAPERS M iami Dade College (MDC) in a recent ceremony at the Wolf- son Campus in Downtown Miami, bestowed the college’s highest honor, the 2024 Endowed Teaching Chairs, on 10 outstanding faculty members. The Endowed Teaching Chairs program is one of MDC’s most prestigious and valued traditions. Each year, top faculty are selected by their peers for this special award, demonstrating excellence in teaching and commitment to MDC’s mission. To date, more than 300 MDC faculty mem- bers have been recognized since the Endowed Teaching Chairs program was established in 1992. Honorees receive a stipend of $7,500 per year for three years to explore new teaching methods, develop projects and enhance their technological expertise. The program is gener- ously funded by individuals, corporations and or- ganizations through the ongoing work of the Miami Dade College Foundation. THE 2024 ENDOWED TEACHING CHAIRS:
