Nora:
-Careless; Nora is not very smart with what she does with her money.
On
page 2, she pays more money than she has to in order to save herself from
some trouble.
Also on page 2, Torvald asks Nora is she had been
overspending again.
-Determined; Nora risked a lot to get the money to pay for a trip that would
save her husband’s life.
In Act 1, Scene 4, Nora has a conversation with
Krogstad and it reveals all the things she risked to get the money for
Torvald.
-Independent; throughout the book, Nora seems very reliant on Torvald, but
this drastically changes towards the end of the book.
From pages 85 to 92,
Nora refers to herself as Torvald’s “doll-wife” and her father’s “doll-child”.
That night, she leaves alone and is finally an independent person.
