The oral presentation will be based on a topic related to Unit 2, Science and Detection or Unit
3, City Solutions . You are to prepare a 4-5 minute PowerPoint (or other program)
presentation on your topic. You will be developing a specific topic for your presentation and
support your presentation using specific evidence from research using the library database as
well as the text and videos used in class. You will summarize and analyze your research
article. You must use at least one article.
Due dates for each part of the presentation:
Chosen topic Monday, November 4th
5 pts.
Evidence of research (article) Friday, November 8th
5 pts.
Outline of presentation Wednesday, November 13 10 pts.
Oral Presentations Friday, November 22 80 pts.
Total points 100 pts.
