CNA Certification Verification
After a student completes nursing training programs and passes state CNA certification test, he/she is
awarded CNA license.
This license acts as being a proof that he/she has acquired proper training and
education and is qualified for CNA work.
This license makes a nursing assistant certified and enables
him/her to work in numerous health care settings like hospitals, nursing homes, long term care units,
and several others.
CNA license is awarded to those students who pass state CNA certification examination that is
comprised of two parts - a written test along with a skills competency test.
As soon as a student
passes examination successfully, he/she is given CNA license and called certified nursing assistant.
The license is valid for two years only.
