Richard “Rik” Stevens was admitted to Watford General Hospital at 11. 20am on December 12 after he began fitting at his home in Kings Langley. It was there that he suffered a second fit and was pronounced dead at 1. 45pm. More than 24 hours had lapsed since the young computer technician had taken the crystallised substance after a night out in Watford on December 10, an inquest heard earlier this month.
