1 CALL FOR PAPERS 11th International Conference inthe Series IBERIAN AND SLAVONIC CULTURES IN CONTACTAND COMPARISON: The Spirit of Reforms in/and Constructing Modernity 16-18 May, 2017 Faculty of Social Sciences andHumanities – University of Lisbon www.iberian-slavonic.eu compares.ibs11@gmail.com In the memory of the late Professor and Friend Halina Janaszek-Ivaničková (1921 – 12th June 2016), a great specialist in Comparative Slavic Studies and a very close collaborator of CLEPUL–FLUL, CompaRes and CISCR-ICS. The forthcoming 11th International Iberian-Slavonic Conference aims to provide new contexts surrounding the 500th anniversary of the Luther`s Reformation Manifesto (1517), a landmark in the construction of European modernity, and will thus focus on the analysis, mapping and comparison of a variety of reforming thought, movements and streams, as well as on their evolutions within Iberian and Slavonic cultures.
