September in fashion is a time when two mystical worlds, the warm days of
summer and the brisk coolness of fall, merge to into one and start a mystical
chemistry.
Fashion is alchemy and alchemy is the art of transmutation, of taking the
rough and raw and rendering it more precious.
In this respect, fashion is like a cocktail-making: the making of a truly
exceptional cocktail requires a skilfully crafted balance between each flavour
component in the blend. Likewise, fashion is a chemistry of colours, physics of
right proportions and biology of right taste.
This is even more so in September: this month signals the changing of the
season and the beginning of the new fashion year – it is a pivotal moment for
IKI too and we want it to be memorable.
Let’s turn ourselves into proper alchemists, infusing and merging our own
