Creation Process
Overview
When I started the Master of Science in Education: Information Technology program in Winter
2012, it was a bit daunting to pick an exit option for my degree when I had not even started yet.
Since
I’m more practically-oriented, than theoretical, I was initially drawn to both the Professional Project and
Professional Portfolio options.
I ended up choosing the Professional Portfolio after learning that the
portfolio could be valuable for not only meeting the exit requirements for the degree but also useful for
showcasing my knowledge, skills, and best work to prospective employers.
A year and a half later, after
completing my work on this portfolio, I have found that early decision to be a wise one.
