CATSTRAND CELEBRATIONS
Top folk group the Peatbog Faeries
and world-class Polish pianist
Alexander Kudajczyk are among the
performers coming to the Glenkens
to celebrate the CatStrand’s 5th
anniversary at the beginning of
October.
The programme, which also features performing
poet John Hegley and a host of other
performances, includes an exhibition of work by
leading local artists.

Sean Paul O’Hare says: “This is a celebration for
the people of the Glenkens.
Most importantly,
we will be showcasing the creative and brilliant
local talent within our community alongside both
national and internationally recognised musicians
and artists.
This is a fantastic opportunity to
come along and enjoy the very best of what
the CatStrand has to offer, and we hope to see
as many local people as possible out enjoying
themselves over our birthday weekend.
