It was no easy task as the competition was strong. The Clachan Inn was voted Overall Dumfries & Stewartry Winner and Stewartry Area Winner Campaign for Real Ale at the CAMRA Pub of the Year Awards 2018. The Clachan isn’t a stranger to recognition, having received CAMRA (Campaign for Real Ale) awards in 2014 and 2016. As a result of the hard work and dedication of owners Laura Burnie and Phil Papworth, along with a committed team of staff, they have now accomplished the overall award.
