Easter Celebrations
The Children celebrated Easter in their English class in a number of ways.
They firstly learn about how Easter is celebrated in England, for example
decorating eggs, going to church, going on an egg hunt and rolling the
chocolate eggs down the hill. The students made their own activities to do
with Easter and how it is celebrated in England by creating their own
personal Easter egg. They brought a boiled egg into school, decorated
however they liked; some with rainbows, some glitter and some with
paint.
The students also created their own Easter baskets after learning certain
English Easter Phrases such as: “Chocolate Eggs, Easter Eggs, Easter
Baskets, Easter Bunny…”
