The Digital Age Of Reason
The reality culture has taken over. Everything that people see, hear, and breathe has to be
‘real’. There are scores of reality shows on television. Many of them are as mundane as the
escapades of a funeral home or a pawn shop. There was a time when the only place you would
have seen these shows is on the footage of a security camera. The world has changed though!
The amount of information and media related stimulation is turning everyone into an information
seeker. In a way it is the digital age of reason. With so much information and stimulation people
want to know that something is real and not a piece of manufactured media. At the same time
they want things that engage them. This can be provocative stories, writing, shows, mobile
applications, or even games. The message is clear, people want a sense of involvement never
seen before.
