The Mental Trust ‘Check’
I was looking through some media campaigns for a prominent health group. Their site was a
marvel of Html 5 innovation. Their video and print spots were as professional as any ads I have
seen all week. The actors were perfectly selected. The scripted message was clear. The length
of the ads and amount of verbiage was spot on. The only thing was, they left me wanting much
more.
While some marketing principles remain the same, every industry has it’s own nuances. Every
industry has peccadilloes and customer expectations that may be different for other products
and services. Healthcare is one where this is especially true. There is a natural tension and
animosity between the general public and their perceptions of medical groups. Even in the most
