THE PLEASURESquaw Valley’s two great courses make it worth the 75-minute drive from the Metroplex

LEN ROSE—Driving down Highway 67 from Fort
Worth to Glen Rose, all you see is country fields
and trees and weeds.
Then, somewhat surprisingly,
you pass a hospital.
Farther down, a golf course comes into view.

hospital, though, the golf course looks as though it should be
there.
As you drive past a few holes along the highway, you
come across a sign welcoming you to “Squaw Valley.
”
Located about 60 miles southwest of the Metroplex, the
36-hole, public course is one of the more unique golf facilities in Texas.
