In Bangladesh, new believers often face pressure from
family and the community to return to Islam.
This can
take the form of social isolation, expulsion from the
home, and even physical attack.
Open Doors runs Standing Strong Through the Storm seminars
to prepare these believers to respond in wisdom, love and
forgiveness, especially to their persecutors.
Moniruzzaman Mollah, a Muslim-background believer from
Gopalpur, about 60 miles from Dhaka, attended his first Open
Doors SSTS seminar last year.
“I enjoyed SSTS very much,”he said.
“The session about the
Bangladesh Constitution was especially helpful.
Our law allows
us to share the gospel with others and observe Christian
traditions and practices.
