The accident was discovered by a helicopter pilot
The silence was not broken until midday when the sun was high in the sky.
A noise came
from the sky and grew louder and louder.
It was a helicopter.
Inside the helicopter, the
noise was twenty times louder.
One of the passengers, a telecom engineer, sat next to the
pilot.
The other passenger, a technician, was in the back with some electronic equipment.
They were on their way to a transmitter in the desert which had a technical problem.
