March 20, 2025 Leadership message Through our Mercy Life Gatherings, we endeavor to “deepen our relationships in a spirit of encuentro and embrace our identity as an intercultural, international community.” We continue to respond to this call from our 2023 Chapter as we participate in the next Mercy Life Gatherings, March 24-31. Over 600 have registered for the six virtual meetings! In January 2025, an in-person Mercy Life Gathering was hosted in Panama. More than 80 sisters and associates from Argentina, Belize, Chile, Guyana, Honduras, Jamaica, Nigeria, Panama, Peru, the Philippines and the United States gathered to explore the theme “Embracing Mercy and Justice We Become One.” The Panama planning committee wisely chose to share the experience in four movements: • The first movement began with our individual reflection and remembering all of the many encuentros over the course of our lives that have shaped and changed us.
