It has been an amazing journey, this year of faith, for The Christian
Journal.
Times are changing.
The economy is down.
This month, one
Christian newspaper printed their smallest issue in 14 years caused by a
decline in advertising.
Another Christian newspaper is closing shop in
November caused by a decline in advertising.
This issue is our lowest
in 10 years because of a decline in advertising revenue.
Can we keep
going?
Yet, the demand for this paper continues to increase.
We get heartfelt
letters and emails from readers who tell us how much this paper means
to them.
God hasn’t told us to stop printing, but He has told us to
continue to move ahead in faith and seek help from readers.
At the beginning of this year we set a goal for 600 paid subsciptions.
If
we make it, our
expenses will
be covered.
