God created us to be generous.
We are continuing to learn about
being generous at The Christian
Journal.
We have been practicing
it for some time in small ways,
but we are being challenged about
becoming more generous every day.
How about you?
Recently we were reminded
about Jesus’ comment about
getting back what we give.
He
talks about the measure we
give coming back to us.
How
surprised we often are when we
only get the dollar back we put
in the offering plate.
Somehow
we think God needs to give us a
large amount and we only need to
give a small amount to Him.
Yet,
when we learn to be generous we
understand Paul’s statement of
reaping what we sow.
Paul also talks about God loving a
cheerful giver.
We have many cheerful givers
who bless The Christian Journal.
