Tonight’s game will be a very tough
encounter for us in the sense that
Carshalton are looking to gain
much needed wins to survive in
the Ryman Premier League.
It’s
frustrating that we are here again
having been in a great position 2-0
up a few weeks ago only for there
to be floodlight failure, but we must
prepare and equip ourselves in the
same manner, and I’m confident
the result will be the same (with
the lights staying on until the end
this time!)
For our last game away to Enfield,
three players pulled out with illness
on the morning of the match,
leaving us with 13 fit players in the
whole club.
To look at the players
unavailable beggars belief and
shows just what a tough job we
have at the moment.
We started the game with a back
four all under 19 yrs of age - nine
players in total started under the
age of 21 - but credit has to go to
those boys who are fit and giving
