Lipowiec castle Lipowiec castle is situated on a limestone hill (362 m. above the sea level) on Kraków-Częstochowa Upland, part of the Jurassic System of south–central Poland. It's a part of "The Trail of the Eagles' Nests" - a chain of 25 medieval castles. The neighbouring villages are Wygiełzów and Babice. It isn't known when exactly the castle was built.
